Horniman Museum Natural History Pop-up

The Horniman Museum and Gardens is currently in the delivery stage of a major capital project with the Natural History Gallery closed for refurbishment. As part of this project we were asked to create a series of illustrations and a colour scheme for a ‘Pop-Up’ natural history display. This display showcases some of the natural history collections and aims to drive interest in the overall project. We used a simple, bold illustrative approach, with an inviting, light and playful touch suited towards the Horniman’s primary audiences, striking a balance between anatomical accuracy and a characterful and friendly illustration style.
