MMW Printworks Interior

Working closely with Millar McCall Wylie’s client team we quickly established that this was a ‘coming of age project’ for the firm.

Conceptually, the intent was to give the space grown up style, whilst injecting an expressive, youthful nod to reflect the forward thinking nature of the firm. Both the reception and client waiting areas use muted tonal furnishings that both soften and compliment the beautiful red brick, historic wooden floors and steel beams that characterise the interior. Large and small scale planters filled with greenery are designed to bring a sense of calm and well being to the work spaces.

The kitchen area is unapologetic with its single wash of vibrant cherry-red, intended to be energising and complimented by a 3 metre reclaimed wood table for casual eating and socialising. As part of the overall scheme, bespoke furniture including a personalised metal and oak reception desk, a six metre boardroom table, credenzas and work pods are all designed with Millar McCall Wylie’s staff needs front of mind.

Colour co-ordinated signage and artworks reflect the building’s industrial heritage and celebrate the history and the future of The Printworks.
